Three easy ways to help Horsham Museum

The Friends have three easy ways to raise money for the Museum that anyone can participate in. Any money we receive goes to helping the Museum, whether it’s to buy artefacts or to help in preserving existing objects.

We have 12 Museum artefacts that you can adopt. These include Willoth the Dragon and even the mummified cat in the Cabinet of Curiosities (a surprisingly popular choice!).

Adopt an Object is a popular birthday or even Christmas gift. For a fee you get your name attached to the object as well as a certificate.

Finally, there’s the Horsham District Community Lottery. If you’ve never heard of it then you are missing out!

When you sign up you have the chance to nominate your favourite charity and if that’s the Friends of Horsham Museum then a percentage of each ticket will help with the Museum’s work.

There are cash prizes each week (with a top prize of £25,000) as well as the chance to win more tickets (improving your chances of being a winner). Recently, the Community Lottery has had some amazing extra prizes such as a £1,500 IKEA gift card.
