The year may be far from over, but the Friends of Horsham Museum & Art Gallery have exciting plans in place for 2024!
After the success of the trip to the beautiful Woolbeding Grdens in May, we will be returning next year, but in September.
The gardens, run by the National Trust, near Midhurst are ever-changing and so those who made the trip this year can see how the plants and trees look in a different season.
Those who went in May reported back with great enthusiasm and there’s already been plenty of interest for this next trip.
A coach from Horsham and back will be provided as there is no parking at the gardens for the public, who normally have to get a shuttle bus from Midhurst.
The visit is booked for Thursday September 5.
Earlier in the year we are also planning to go to Ramster Gardens, near Chiddingfold. It’s famous for its amazing spring colour spread over 25 acres of woodland.
It has spectacular displays of rhododendrons, azaleas and camellias.
The date for this visit? It’s Wednesday May 8.
There’s still room on both trips, so if you are interested then please let us know by emailing: fhmag1893@gmail.com
