Horsham half-term children’s fun returns

During the past year or so Horsham Museum & Art Gallery has gained an excellent reputation for its craft activities during school holidays.

These themed days now attract dozens of young visitors and their parents or guardians on each occasion.

For just £1 per participant children can enjoy creating all manner of objects or take part in a free Museum trail which guides them around the building and garden looking for clues.

Half-term is nearly upon us and, once again, the invitation is to sign up for a craft session on Tuesday February 12 until Friday February 16 (10.30am-3pm).

This time the theme is Terracotta Time Travellers! Those who attend will be exploring how clay was used by the ancient Romans.

You can make tea-candle lamps, pots and mosaics, inspired by those found in West Sussex.

Crafts will be made accessible for all ages and free colouring sheets are available.

The sessions have become so popular a booking system was introduced and the advice is sign up soon to avoid disappointment!

You can find the information and a link to the booking system on the Museum website’s dedicated page.
