Coming up next for the Friends of Horsham Museum & Art Gallery is the Annual General Meeting which will incorporate the next talk.
Local artist Claire Phillips will be giving a talk on ‘Struggle and Strength’ on Wednesday April 16 at 7.30pm in the Wesley Hall, Cornerstone Methodist Church, London Road, Horsham.
Before that, though, the Friends’ and Horsham Museum Society AGMs will be held.
Claire, from Partridge Green, is a contemporary portrait painter specialising in large-scale oil portraits communicating individual personal stories.

She expresses the extraordinariness of people she meets every day – the window cleaner, beekeeper or dairyman – or portrays the simple humanity of those facing the most extraordinary situations – the executioner, the death row prisoner, or the murder victim’s family.
She has worked with British legal action charity Reprieve and Indian charity, Bachpan Bachao Andolan, founded by Nobel Peace Prize winner Kailash Satyarthi.
Members admission is free and guests admission is £5.
