Museum’s summer Friday Lates – music and history combine

After last summer’s success Horsham Museum & Art Gallery’s Friday Lates will be held this summer, starting on June 13.

The Museum will be open (free admission as usual) from 10am until 8pm with all the galleries and gardens open. From 6pm there will be music with each Museum Late featuring a different artist.

First up will be talented Sussex folk duo Folkus who performed at the Museum last year.

Refreshments will be available again to buy in the garden.

The subsequent dates will be:

July 18 – Live entertainment will be provided by Brighton jazz duo Sloth in the City.

August 15 – The Museum will commemorate the 80th anniversary of VJ day and have live entertainment of vintage 1950s and 60s hits from singer Lianna Hayes.

September 12 – Entertainment will be provided by Brighton-based steel band Steel Tribe who proved very popular when they performed at the Museum last year.

Please note that the Museum Lates entertainment takes place in the garden regardless of weather conditions.

The event is not bookable, so if the event reaches capacity you may need to wait to enter the museum.
