Jazzy time at Horsham Museum Late

Jazz duo Sloth in the City performed yesterday (July 18) at what was Horsham Museum & Art Gallery’s first Friday Late.

Last month’s event sadly was cancelled due to unexpected circumstances, but there was a big crowd for this couple from Brighton.

The cool jazz from acoustic guitar and soprano saxophone was a contrast to the hot weather. It was also timely as the following morning saw the first rain for some time!

Visitors had the chance to view the new exhibition – 100 years of Horsham Blue Star Harriers.

The next Museum Late will be on Friday August 15 when the Museum celebrates the 80th anniversary of VJ Day.

The museum will be open until 8pm with live entertainment of vintage 1950s and 1960s hits from singer Lianna Hayes starting at 6pm.

Drinks refreshments will be available in the garden 6-8pm.
