Horsham’s Olive Branch pub reverts to Green Dragon!

After more than 25 years of being called the Olive Branch, the pub in the Bishopric, Horsham, has now reverted to its original name – The Green Dragon!

The original building dates way to the 15th Century and was timber framed. It was once an administration centre for the lord of the manor.

More recently, it was part of the local King and Barnes brewery estate until the company was bought by Hall & Woodhouse who renamed it as the Olive Branch.

But now it has a brand new sign with a dragon, a symbol that reflects the ancient story of a mythical beast that inhabited nearby St Leonards Forest!
