Curator’s Corner at Horsham Museum & Art Gallery

On Saturday (April 11 at 11am) a new venture begins as the Friends of Horsham Museum & Art Gallery are hosting the first ever Curator’s Corner!

This new initiative is a Friends-only event and is being held at the Museum (the first one in the Library is fully subscribed).

It’s an opportunity for a small group of members to meet our Curator Nikki Caxton (pictured) who will choose an object in the Museum’s collection and talk not only about the object itself, but also about its place in history.

Each event will last approximately 45 minutes, allowing for a question and answer session at the end.

As it’s in the Museum, numbers are limited to a maximum of 15 at each event and topics will be varied throughout the year.

Attendance is by advance booking only and is on a first come first serve basis but is FREE to our membership.

The first Curator’s Corner will feature tales and objects relating to the Knights Templar based in Shipley in the 12th century.
