Looking back – Horsham showroom demolished

It’s remarkable the amount of history hidden away in people’s cupboards, photo albums and, these days, digital collections.

One of our Museum Friends discovered these photos and video while looking through an old hard drive.

He captured the demolition, in September 2014, of the former Gilbert Rice Motor showroom and the houses that stood next to it. The area is now apartments.

We hope to track down some more footage from the past and share it with you in the coming months.
