The Horsham Museum & Art Gallery archives have a great number of old photos, most of which have a record of what they are and the date they were taken.
However, there are around 50 that have been captioned as possibly of the Kensett family. Our video (and the featured image) show just a small sample.
The Friends of Horsham Museum & Art Gallery are currently putting together a history of the Museum Society in which the Kensett family were very active.

Sisters Elizabeth and Emily Kensett were very early members of the Society (formed in 1893) and served on the committee. As with several other Society members, they were also active members of the Free Christian Church, in Worthing Road, Horsham (the first home of the Museum).
The Museum Friends are very keen to track down photos of these ladies, plus Mr W.W. Kensett, another active member.
The archive images were taken by a wide variety of photographers from Horsham and Brighton to Rotherham and London.
The Kensett family have a long association with the village of Slaugham, however, Emily and Elizabeth lived together in Horsham.
