Curator’s Corner – Museum Friends-only event

While Horsham Museum & Art Gallery is temporarily closed to the public for essential roof repairs, special Museum Friends-only events are being planned.

The main one is Curator’s Corner and the next, in the Museum Library, is on the evening of Friday September 25. However, such is its popularity, it’s already full subscribed!

Museum Curator Nikki Caxton will present ‘Horsham’s Lost Country House: Hills Place (pictured below) and its role in the town’s most corrupt election’.

This will be the third Curator’s Corner (the first was on the Knights Templar and their link with Shipley; the second on Storrington Sanctuary and its place in history) and a recent invitation to members saw a big response!

There will be more Museum Friends events in the coming months, plus a packed programme planned for next year.

If you want to get involved with the Museum Friends and join in the various outings, talks etc (including Curator’s Corner), then see our web page on how to get involved.
